About E-Alerts

D3 E-Alerts Module is a web-intake reporting tool that allows non-users and anonymous users in the organization to report physical security or cybersecurity issues. A link to the E-Alert Portal index page on the company webpage or intranet homepage allows all users to report without a login or user-license to the vSOC application.

The following scenarios are examples of people who may submit an E-Alert:

  • Members of the public who wish to report an incident on company property

  • Employees who wish to report policy or safety violations anonymously

  • Employees or clients who wish to submit a security request through an intranet or corporate portal

Incoming E-Alerts are processed by a designated user in the vSOC application. They can be escalated to Dispatch or Incident Report, or archived for reference purposes.

The E-Alerts Module is superior to email. It provides advantages like cohesive and seamless tracking of incoming reports, eliminating possible double-entry, and allowing customized report form to guide submitters towards required details by the physical or cybersecurity teams.
